Big brains of biz

Where do you think crypto will be 5, 10, 50 years from now
Obviously bitcoin is worthless useless crap, mining is obsolete
Can ethereum v2 over take it
Can defi seriously challenge tradfi
Right now there's like only 1b, but things could accelerate as projects mature and become more real world related thanks to link
Look at the kind of assets handled by synthetix and dmm, 1 year ago this seemed pretty crazy, it's moving fast but adoption is slow
Most of the 2017 EEA enterprise interest has only led to vapor ware, boomers tried playing catch up with the hype, went nowhere and disappeared as quickly as they joined in
Link will continue to do well I'm sure, but due to being backend middleware it'll remain difficult to understand for most and will struggle to pump
There's no doubt in my mind that link will be as big as biz thinks, it's the key to use cases explosions
But will defi ever be more than a hobby for tech nerds, can it really start colliding with Wall Street, isda etc? It just seems so unlikely but if it at some point just is x10 more cost effective then it'll just win out, right?
Will there be another post halving bullrun in winter 2021 as we can predict? If there is I doubt it'll be as big as the previous one, what do you guys think?
And what about muh institutional adoption? Will PayPal really offer crypto? Can libra go through and actually become the normie tier crypto?
How would the market react to Eth replacing btc, or btc collapsing, could it take the whole market with it to zero, could interest 'in the tech' survive a crash? Are defi and smart contracts valuable enough propositions once normies realize it was never about e-currencies?
I have to say even if the tech has real promises the fact that 95% of the space is literal scams and cash grabs makes me worried about its long term viability, just look at crypto Twitter, reddit and journalism, they're all fucking retarded, the foundations of the market are so rotten and weak
