all the skins carry over to cs 2 and just look better in-game. this is just hype. it's probably a better idea to log into your old cs account and just sell everything you have on a real money platform (in minecraft). I'm thinking of picking up some rarer cases, but even looking at historical prices for other "rare" cases, the gains aren't that crazy. the stuff in cs that is worth the most are good-looking knives, gloves, and skins.
