Here's a Starship (slightly older render) compared to a Saturn V and a Falcon 9. It's welded together in a field out of stainless steel by Mexican workers, which brings the costs down somewhat compared to the clean rooms of ULA and Boeing.

Both the upper and lower halves return. The upper half is a spaceship that can be refueled and sent to Mars. The lower half flies back to the launch site, so it can be refueled and launch another Starship.

It's a fully reusable superheavy lift vehicle larger than the Saturn V and cheaper to operate than any existing rocket. It runs on liquid methane and liquid oxygen, through 7 Raptor engines on the upper stage (prototype pictured here, called the "Starship") and 31 on Superheavy (not built yet but construction has started, Superheavy is the first stage and goes under the Starship). The whole thing together is massive. It's designed to colonize Mars. The whole thing is made of stainless steel. This render is slightly outdated, it has two fins instead of three now.
