I got myself a cool apartment and I've been thinking if being a land lord would be a decent investment.
Aside from helping my mom get her own place I don't have anything major planned to do with my money and I feel like investing in cheapo apartments for rent and sale would be a decent idea.
Does anyone here have experience with that? Would that be a worth while investment? What do I need to prepare myself for?
Also I am South American so I understand that the situation might be a little different depending on where you live.
