You want to be in miners with mines in countries that're USA allies, as the USD is in massive shortage right now, and every country in the world is in massive amounts of dollar denominated debt. The USD is only beginning to just short squeeze upwards. There is ever increasing risk of nationalising mines in non USA allied palces such as AFrica or Turkey for Gold which is priced in USD and can be used in a way to circumvent this problem. All USA allies are being handed dollar swap lines, essentially USD loans at below market rate.

I wouldn't play the Barricks, Newmonts, and Wheatons. Agnico is in all USA allied countries but I don't know their management. Personally I like LibertyGold, Goldmining, Puregoldmining (fantastic management and in one of the best geological and political jurisdictions). Avoid countries with Ak47s. The price looks attractive but you'll get fucked down the road. Endeavor I believe got jacked up by cartels last month.
