it'll keep getting worse and worse until it touches enough people and makes them angry enough to buck the status quo, from there all it takes is a charismatic figure to rally the mob by telling them their failings are not their own fault, but the system's. younger people across the west are less and less enchanted by democracy, because we're all watching our politicians do jack shit about the problems our society faces. tomorrow's populists are going to make people like Trump look like a fucking joke, because the ruling class didn't take the average person's struggles seriously, or didn't care at all.
