I should be getting my tax return sometime next week (around $3000) and I was planning on investing it into a mutual fund.

However, I seen it posted here that if I have student loans (around $10,000 at the moment) I should just use it to pay off the loans.

I don't have to start paying the principle amounts until 6 months after graduation which is in less than 2 years.

Should I invest or pay loans?
