Maybe in the long term, but I'm talking soon – late 2021, maybe 2022. Starship will spend the vast majority of it's time chucking a hundred tons of satellite per launch into orbit for less than the cost of a single smallsat launcher today. Initially this will mostly be Starlink satellites, but the rideshare opportunities are obvious.

red if SN10 lands successfully, green if SN10 explodes, crab if SN10 is delayed

I'm not buying ARKX if it includes SPCE, unless Cathie somehow gets SpaceX private equity. I'd rather pick winners.

>i think i'll try to be less scared of throwing more money at shit that seems promising
That's not really what I meant. I'm balls deep in space stocks because I have train spotting tier autism for space, and could (and have) written multiple pages on how I plan to make the most of it. Autism is informational asymmetry.

>they get back on the path to commercialization.
How long has the path been? When did they first promise commercial flights?
>I bet they change the way we all travel and play.
How long will it take, considering that getting this far took over a decade? Consider also that Starship is catching up rapidly; SpaceX can already build more prototype ships in a month than Virgin Galactic builds in a year.
>"Remember when we thought hypersonic travel was impossible? We do that every day. Now it's all about who will make it to Mars or Europa first."
I agree, but Virgin Galactic will not enable that future. Starship will.

Essentially, yes. Starship is made of 4mm thick (3mm next block) stainless steel for ease of construction and rapid prototyping. The magic is the Raptor engines and the Eloneron control system.

>literal anti-natalists trying to make moral arguments
It is not only fundamentally just to expand humanity into the stars, it is fundamentally just to kill anyone who stands in the way. Preferably with Kratos brand tactical drones.
