Even if Elon does pay them, what is stopping them from buying back in?

Literally nothing and it's probably what they will do anyways. Whales aren't whales by accident. It's a never ending cycle. This rn is a lose-lose situation for believers in the coin. Elon needs to develop his own coin and make it a meme coin as well so doge owners and normies can easily transition and that way he can control it. But that also might lead to regulations. I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel for doge. I just don't.
