35% of my portfolio is link, done very well for me thanks to you fags alerting me of it back in 2017, and i got in early 2018
they're clearly doing very well but i just found out that projects that use chainlink, often use other oracles as well, but chainlink has an exclusivity agreement i guess we'll call it, where if a project is using them and BAND and any number of other oracles, the agreement with chainlink is that they're not allowed to mention the other oracles they're using and are only allowed to mention chainlink
so if i had a project and i was using band and tellor, then i started using chainlink as well, all 3 in conjunction, to use chainlink, i'd have to sign and agree to never stating to anyone that i use any oracle outside of chainlink
this sounded like bullshit, so i'm here for you linkies that know more to please tell me it is bullshit. and if it's not, why is this being done? other than the marketing side of things. we already know chainlink's tech is light years ahead, so why are they doing this? (if they even are)
also, is there anyone that is working with a company that is partnered with chainlink that can shed some light on this and other things that we should be skeptical about?
i'll always love link, but we're reaching that point with the price where it's time to get skeptical and some of us, like myself, need to think about when to take profits
