makes sense to me but signal analysis on the stock market is pretty much a pseudoscience in reality. Nobody knows for sure what's going to happen in such a short term. I'm willing to accept that the guy's analysis probably is at least an educated guess based on empirical analysis.
Pic related which I found from somebody at ceo.ca ended up happening, gold touched $1880 and went up afterwards. So based on that I'd think it will probably go up

But again I always take signal analysis with a grain of salt. Although the more simple the analysis the better imho

If I had to pick a major, I'd pick a gold producer. But I'm not into majors because they pay divvies, and I'm not a fan of divvies because of the tax headache I have to go through with them (maybe when I'm older and want a steady income flow). Microcaps, small caps and medium caps can all be great investments but their balance sheet and projects must be good. Sometimes investing in a company with a bad balance sheet can be justified in my opinion though if their project portfolio is great.
>Also, do you guys think gold will continue to go down in value for the time being?
It'll either go back up again or it'll settle higher than it was before the 'rona came. No reason why it would go under YTD levels anymore now that currency has been diluted again. Pic related is an interesting chart with meme lines I stole from somebody at ceo.ca
