these small and mid-size companies are all on life support. when they're gone, the jobs are gone. when the jobs are gone, there is no one to advertise to. when there is no one to advertise to, google, netflix, meta, all get smashed. when there is no real need for the next generation of bullshit your kids just absolutely have to have, nvidia and apple get smashed.
buybacks dwindle to nothing, and they issue instead, slowly slaughtering all of your unrealized gains.
