Take a closer look at past instances of indicator sell signal vs the chart movement. It's not uncommon for an indicator to pop sell signal on a large green day with good volume, which is then followed by a couple days of drawdown as people take profit. You can adjust by buying a day or two after the buy signal, or adjust the parameters of the indicator such that the signal occurs slightly later.
