I'm one of the very few people here who actually uses BTC to pay for stuff. So I care about network fees big time, I know most people here just trade on an exchange where fees are mostly static...

What tool do you use to check Bitcoin fees?
And do you have any tips, have you spotted any pattern etc in when the fees are lowest?

I need to send some BTC to the exchange to sell it but it's been pretty high lately. Also I used BTC to buy goods recently but I realized it's better to wait until the fees are around $5. It's tricky to track and predict.

Seems to be going down again though. Maybe it's the right time now? I expected them to drop on Christmas.
