a whole world full of people...a whole industry full of regulators...a whole agency full of capable people...and they chose the one lady who was publicly cuckolded (cuckqueened?) as part of a fake story about election interference that elevated a reality tv star/failed mafia real estate tycoon to the most powerful political office in the world.

sometimes if you really let it all sink in it can kinda get to be a bit much. i think that's enough internet for me. it's snowing lightly, and the sunrise is soon, perhaps i'll make some coffee and go for a walk.

I've realized how much time I've wasted on /pol/ when I should have spent that time learning how to make some cash. I want to buy some land and build a homestead.

I have a few hundred dollars to spend. I'm thinking on BOA or DOGE. I've also seen alot of people saying to buy AMC. I'm leaning on dumping it on BOA and giving it a few months to materialize.

you know what i found out recently? the whole Operation Highjump, Admiral Byrd thing- turns out that parts of that are made up. Like, there was no day where he went for a flight and went mysteriously missing for 12 hours. He was the fucking Admiral, people would have noticed and it would have been recorded. And the thing about people dying in mysterious attacks and the fleet turning back early- that didn't happen either. What did happen was a huge effort to map the coastline of Antaractica and some missions inland to do things like measure sea ice. This is, again, very well documented. It's possible that some things might have been quietly performed (liasons with the space nazis?) but, like, people have looked at the mission records and not found any evidence of weird shit happening. Much like the Philadelphia Project and Roswell, the mythos grew after the mission, seemingly as a result of government sources spinning dramatic stories. To what end, who knows?

With that said I do think Antarctica probably has some ruins from the ancient high civilization under that ice. God I'd love to check it out! I actually thought about going into comparative mythology and archaeology at the beginning of college to increase my chances of being Indiana Jones and getting recruited by the glowies but decided smoking weed was more important and have pursued it as an amateur instead.
