Women imagine a ladder with a "glass ceiling", they never ask who put the ladder there and whether there are other mountains to climb.

>central bank can manipulate the supply
because when the central bank is run by someone honest like Margaret Thatcher they can reduce price volatility more compared to the gold standard

Also yahoo is searching for ways to increase ad revenue and the money spent on acquisitions are a small proportion of the money they made selling alibaba a while back among other things, yahoo needs to own a piece of the tech pie in order to survive in the long term.

we need to encourage intelligent women to breed, however I doubt this is the political basis for maternity leave

I don't understand why the business must pay them for no work and not the government or some kind of insurance scheme. "so that they come back to work for you later", so if a woman only works with you for 2 years, and she spends 6 months on maternity leave, you are paying her the same amount for 75% of the work

I think there should be an insurance scheme, businesses pay into a pregger's fund depending on the number of employees and their salaries, then if a woman gets knocked up the insurance pays her maternity leave, that way the costs are evenly spread and small businesses which only hire a small number of people aren't severely punished for taking on nubile women
