game theory says that anyone who has their funds on any of these exchanges should withdraw immediately. the more withdrawals, the more potential for a short squeeze and massive profits. if you don't withdraw, you risk the shortsqueeze happening anyway and your funds vanishing when these services go belly up. anyone who still cares about whatever yield they're being promised by these exchanges is mentally deficient, given what we've learned over the last few months. the ONLY winning move is to withdraw, as doing so both protects your own position while potentially liquidating your enemies and giving you massive profits.

Basically the nodes hold pools on every chain, when you trade you send one asset (say BTC) to the BTC chain pool, nodes release LINK from the LINK pool to your ETH wallet.

They do this through a decentralized consensus system defined within set AMM rules, which uses RUNE as the intermediary peg between pools (incidentally in a way that minimizes impermanent loss).

You may think, big deal, there are bridges for this stuff, but most existing bridges are not decentralized protocols at all, just multi-party signature wallets that are dangerous and centralized. And they are usually not between ALL chains, which is what RUNE aims for.

With RUNE, you essentially could eliminate centralized exchanges completely, all you'd need is fiat on-ramp, which is set to happen through decentralized ID systems soon.
