Kinda related question:
Is it just me, or is most stuff that gets pushed here penny stocks? Apart from the occasional GM and Tesla, I only see fucking tiny companies I have never heard of.

Now i do understand that the biggest gains are to be had at small, new companies that will go to the moon, but for every sucessful moon landing, there is going to be a hundred challenger catastrophes…

Or is it just that biz cant afford to "invest" more than a few bucks at a time?

If not, I am really curious about penny stocks. As said, I dont really believe in them as a sole way to becoming rich, but can those be a reasonable addition to a portfolio mostly made up of big stocks and funds? I could easily afford to risk a few hundred €, but first I would like to read me a bit into the topic, to come to my own judgement.
