I have around 4k that I want to use as a start into crypto and I'm trying to take in as much info as I can while the bear market lasts. What basic bitch strategy/ies should I be aware of at the very least to not eat shit? What would be the best split without spreading too thin?

I'm thinking of 2k BTC, 1ETH and the ~700 left put into 2 alts not yet set in stone as I'm basically shooting in the dark with them for now. This seems like an okay allocation for a noob.
Opinions? Also how did you start out and how did it go?

Am I ever gonna make it? I'm great at my job and people in the office seem to think highly of me but I have outgrown it. I make just under 40k/year but I know I am capable of more. What industries would you guys recommend that I take a look at?
