In April 2017, I borrowed $20K to put in BTC. It was one of the best gambles ever. Unfortunately, I sold most of it during the China ban at $4-5K because I was scared of not being able to pay it back.

Again, I borrwed $5K when BTC was around $4K. I should have borrowed more.

Anyone borrowed or thinking of borrowing?

Don't trade. Just keep it simple. Just buy some Bitcoin and hold until December 2021. You're going to feel stupid if you don't

>lunch money

I am wary of investing in dogshit coins in a sideways market. I only had around 7 BTC in April 2017. That shit grew and I threw smaller amounts into dogshit coins. My best return was buying Nano for 1 BTC in December 2017 and cashing out $120K in January 2018. That ~$7K invested in April 2017 was enough to pay off the house and max my retirement accounts in early 2018. So that lunch money saved me from wagecucking 30 years to pay off my mortgage.

If I had invested in dogshit coins outside the top 100 in early 2017, I would not have made money. Most are dead coins you find in pages 3-7 of CMC. Even the top 100 today compared to April 1 2017, there are only 20 coins from then remaining in the CMC top 100.

Sadly I am not an incel NEET and I need regular pussy. Every time I do the single thing, I end up spending a ton of money on fucking escorts. So having a gf turns out less expensive. And I am not chad enough to pull a fuck date the caliber of my gf every week.

Damn right Anon. Once I get enough to be comfy, I am going to sell my townhouse and move to one of these places at a fraction of the cost. I'll just sit home, play vidya, watch movies and maybe be a creeper boomer fucking young skanks in a small town. At worst I'll be visiting hole in the wall strip joints once in a while and have arrangements with sexy young single mothers with worthless baby daddies.

Your money goes a looong way in towns like this. No need to move to fucking Thailand. I'd move to places like this right now but there is no way I am making $100K salaries in these places.

- Python
- Data Science, Analysis, Machine Learning, etc
- Big Data shit, Hadoop, EMR, Spark
- AWS so you can spin up the servers/infrastructure needed for this
- Probably a decent amount of Linux so you know what you're doing in these boxes

If you can do a decent job of that, you are going to get paid.

Why not both?

Diversify doesn't mean investing is 100 different shitcoins 99 of which are probably scams.

It means diversifying across thousands companies and across different asset classes some of which might be completely speculative.

G/F pays groceries, electricity and water. The rest I've been dumping into paying off the mortgage. Shoveling crypto gains and what's left after retirement accounts, I've almost paid it off in exactly 2 years.

Probably going to dump 80/20 Vanguard World Index and crypto after that.

I call bullshit on all these fags nowadays posting they had $800K-$1MM and lost it all to the bear market.

Either it's bullshit or you're retarded.

Made good money through 2017 and Jan. 2018. Could have made made ridiculous bank if I hadn't been cashing out trying to play it safe slowly through Q3 in 2017 and if I had cashed out everything by January.

But still made great money. How the fuck can you get in so early and still lose money? Surely at least you made $100K or more.

Nothing to be gained from DataDash though. He takes the masses off a cliff. I got into RaiBlocks in early December and sold almost everything at $28. That is almost exactly when DataDash started shilling it and poor fuckers lost a ton and kept on losing.

You're doing great. I had exactly your numbers at 34.

I am now 45 and I have $350K in retirement accounts, $150K townhome with $35K remaining, plus $21K in crypto. Being part of the crypto bubble and the stock market bubble really helped me out. A lot of what the market does you have no control over and you have to take some risk in order to make money.

Nobody fucking knows what's next. If history repeats itself:

> might see a bit of a spike in November.

> Then stagnant and lower most of 2019

> upward movement end of 2019

> slightly bullish near/after next Bitcoin halvening mid-2020

> Another bullrun in 2021

If the value continues to move up in the long run, it's not clear now much BTC can be valued at. $6K for a magic token is already insane. And you're unlikely to see the insane 1000 x times gains we saw in a shitload of coins like we did in 2017. Most of these are marketing hype and the longer the crypto market is around the more obvious it'll be because they aren't delivering shit. Surely there is higher returns than stocks and money to be made and it's nice to have "money" in your own control so that's why I am around.

Posted this before. There are 22 Million BTC addresses over the stretch of 10 years. Mostly dust addresses. A small percentage of active addresses house most coins. If you own BTC you are in that small percentage that own most the coins:

> If you hold 1 or more BTC or more, then you are also in the top 3% of addresses that owns 96% of Bitcoin

> If you hold .1 BTC or more, then you are also in the top 11% of addresses that owns 99.1% of Bitcoin

> If you hold .01 BTC or more, then you are also in the top 30% of addresses that owns 99.87% of Bitcoin

Felt like I could actually make it although a $100K today is not what it used to be be when I was a kid.

> $500K

Next goal. Feeling achievable

> $1MM

$1MM is not what it used to be but for me is "Made it" money considering I should have my townhouse paid off and can live cheaply without working letting my GF pay the utilities and buy the food.

>You basically have to be a retard to invest in ZCASH. Inflation kills value. It was worth $200 this time last year. It's supply will increases more than 5 x times.

>If you want to use a privacy coin, Monero has better privacy. It's accepted in DNMs.

>I am not sure what your reason for buying ZCash would be.

Also everything I said but what I find more amazing is despite the fact that Shilbert has a ZCash Trust and Gemini has ZCash and Coinbase will probably add it in the future, ZCash's value is half of what it was last year while Monero has retained value over the last year.
