Bull runs don't happen because normalfags have forgotten about the last bear.
They happen because many coins that are used as millionaire's playing tools dump to below 1m market cap.
Then the millionaire starts accumulating everything until the float is so minimal that he can determine the token's price. Sort of like what Alameda did for new ones, but for ones that had been on the open market for years, which creates trust in the fairness of the price.
Then the most perspicacious of crypto users start noticing that while everything is crabbing, there are gems that can 10x your portfolio before the real fun even begins.
The most perspicacious are followed by the above average IQs out there once the first price explosions have happened.
Eventually we're back to a slightly bullish sentiment.
...
Also never forget that USDT printing has massively increased leverage in crypto. They will fill the market with pump money once we're bullish, just like they will further sell once shit is about to hit the fan (in order to fill up their reserves). Despite being a scam, USDT is probably fully backed simply because they bought BTC to pump it, starting as early as $250 per BTC. Then they definitely were involved in dumping it in 2018 in order to not get left out holding useless bags. Price movements are more sudden because of them, and the next pump will be no exception. You don't need institutional money if you have tether.

If USDT actually gets fked by regulators, it might be game over though. But I suspect they'll continue as usual for at least another bull.

>What can go wrong?
You'll get bored and sell because you're not rich after three months. Current bear market could run another 2 years.
Dollar cost averaging would have been a much better plan.

>am I about to lose it all?
Yep. For God's sake please get some input from a real financial / tax planner. !0% crypto would be good.
