>been on internet since 2002 or so, turning 30 in less then 2 years, windows 2000 on an IBM desktop was first experience with a computer
>zero enthusiasm for AI have accepted internet was a dead place long ago and see AI as desperate patch by big tech to try to save their aging products
>zero enthusiasm for metaverse view it as scam reflective of decaying society
>internet focused games really lost their cool factor by middle-end point of seventh gen consoles era
>internet shopping companies/platforms feels forced empty useless, propped by VCs with no new ideas but endless budgets and bureaucrat companies treading water
>at most use youtube for occasional music
>kind of miss days of browsing flash games on windows XP and potential risk of getting hit with a malware, internet felt dangerous/real to some point then
>come to conclusion monero has been only meaningful application of networked computers

Anyone older or same(ish) age feel the same? I wonder if 80s BBS users felt the same by the time facebook became a thing. I kind of wish I got to see more of 90s internet.
