ETH sidechain. Will likely be used by a lot of people. Gnosis, Kleros, Omen, Powerpool, 1hive, honeyswap, tons of stuff already moving to it in some way shape or form. Basically its THE Eth sidechain. Vitalik just doesn't want to admit that ETH can't handle everything.

The problem with Roll-ups that NO ONE wants to talk about is that many of them rely on a batching technique. This makes it take 30 minutes often times to get a tx through. The time it takes for these roll up solutions to reach finality are NOT good solutions for the average person. They are good for large exchanges and enterprises though, because they often are moving tons of things around and have SOME tx that aren't time sensitive. I checked out Loopring a few weeks ago, I thought it was cool, but then I read how it takes hours to do certain things, no wonder that shit isn't taking off.

xDai is already gaining popularity because it is a chain that is almost identical to ETH, but has faster block time, and lower STABLE tx fees. For the average person, it is easy to learn, its just like using a version of ETH that works faster and is cheaper. Full EVM support as well, so anything that runs on ETH can be ported over. The only thing the ETH user needs to do is put in a custom RPC to metamask to interact with xDai network.

Yeah xDai is pretty good for doing stuff like that. Personally I'm not sure if Honeyswap becomes THE dex on xDai, so I'm just going to hold a tiny bit of HNY, and a ton of STAKE.

Where are my xDai chads at? I seriously hope none of you are considering swinging at these prices. One announcement could send us through the stratosphere. So many projects are beginning to think about moving to xDai and a few already have. The value locked on defi pulse keeps on climbing. Something big is about to happen. Most dogshit DeFi scams have lost 33% of their locked value in the past month. xDai has gained 500% in a week... What do you think is going to happen if markets turn bull? Or if reddit gets announced?

xDai STAKE. It solves a problem that loopring is trying to solve (layer 2 scalability for ETH) but has more adoption and is 1/8th the marketcap. Also has a chance to win the reddit scaling competition which would give it a lot of attention. So many DAOs and other projects moving to STAKE I'm not sure if reddit will even matter long term though.
