That's because most retail investors are retarded. A simple look at the top ten coins will prove this. Normies see 'eth but faster' and froth at the mouths, despite the fact that neither ADA nor DOT have working smart contracts, they're in the top 10 currencies by Mc.

Chainlink on the other hand actually requires research to see it's true value, something dumb money is nearly incapable of. Doesn't fucking matter though, survival of the fittest will see chainlink rise to the top, this just gives us more time to accumulate.
