I was perma anything during the covid stuff up to this point so there was a mixture of long and short attempts at particular spots. There were two failed attempts at shorting index during the rally on what looked like reasonably good percentage confirmation moves to downside. Covered both of those around -3% loss each. The next go around I saw dollar weakening against euro and shinies moving like they were setting up for a breakout. Bought shinies. Made lots of money. Most successful was a 2x silver long that I closed last week over two days for an average +67% profit. I am now about 70% in blue chip equities, 5% in Denny's because I have a hunch there, and the remaining 25% in cash awaiting a potential re-entry on shinies if they give a bullish continuation confirm.

Women's approach to trading is endlessly fascinating to me. That combination of risk aversion but then fomo buying is something. It's the perfect mindset to fomo in at the top and panic sell the bottom.
