For me at least it's to keep me focused. For me a $10k price is only about a 100x in my net worth so I can plan around that without getting lost in absurd fantasies. This much for a house, this much for T-bills, this much for starting a business, and so on. Putting that in the same decision tree as a private space station just leads to analysis paralysis.

I think the 10-K was a step in that direction. We've seen they can publish the CS number and the Sneed & Co number. Now all they have to do is put both in the same document and uh oh stinky.
