The entertainment business takes advantage of people, turns them into franchises, and normal people buy it all up. Everything from concerts and sporting events to cinema and porn. Distractions to keep you occupied and not interested in politics and structure of government. More money is spent on things we want than things we need. Seen a lot of great improvements in our way of life in most parts of the world. But we've also seen destruction and people's lives taken because of government agendas. The average government is not for the people anymore. The financial system is so fucked up internally even though stocks continue to rise and nothing is crashing. It will happen. But they'll make sure something is prepared to fall back on (probably crypto or private blockchains where the current coins are no longer used).
