Can't advise on anything except cryptocurrency because that's what I have the most experience with.

If you want to be "safe" like a boomer, 50/50 split BTC/ETH. Can almost guarantee you will take huge profit if you withdraw in 2021 or later. For riskier buys, I'd look to what is currently listed on Coinbase. Personally I like BAT and LINK a lot because they are relatively new tokens with huge potential. If they achieve what they're trying to accomplish, they'll not only be incredibly useful for a new business, large stacks will be priceless.

BTC/ETH/BAT/LINK

Simple answer:

Mods are either 1) complicit in the problem, i.e. they're getting paid off not delete/prune scam threads, not to ban serial scamcoin spammers, and not to carpet-ban Indian IP's, and/or 2) the mods just don't give a fuck, in which case they're still somewhat complicit in the scams. I think a less likely option is the moderation team/jannies are just understaffed and/or allow a laissez-faire system where they don't like to ban people.

That being said, I HAVE been banned on /biz/ in the past for saging a LINK thread. My theory is the mods are making money off of allowing LINK spam and other spam.

au contraire, I think of the token/project is making nice progress in terms of adoption and use, while the price isn't pump & dumping, it begins to look more and more like a solid investment.

imo BAT's the next Ethereum. Instead of Devs and programmers it's going to have users and creators pushing it into the limelight. It's the next step in ETH's progression. BTC -> ETH -> BAT. BAT becomes the #1 use case for cryptocurrency. Even Vitalik has seen the light.

What concrete, provable use does LINK have to show for it?

I don't want partnerships, I don't want some "future use case" or "potential clients", I don't want rumors or some random blogpost about breadcrumbs. Give me some concrete use case that I can use LINK for RIGHT NOW, that is not trading.

Oh, that's right. You can't. Because LINK is literally useless right now. Crypto HAS to eventually move on past this XRP/TRON tier vaporware bullshit "THIS IS WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO" charlatan shitcoin hype and needs to move into a "this is what you can literally do RIGHT NOW with our shitcoin" phase. This is what 2019 and 2020 are about - use cases. Literally being able to use the coin and make money using it. This is why LINK will die, until it releases mainnet.

Because the original Bitcoin idea seemed to be something great and enlightened, then you realize this guy is Satoshi and it seems more like some megalomaniac cunt's project to get himself famous while making a bunch of dosh.

I feel like /biz/ and /fit/ are sort of core-4chan culture right now.

In the past there was /a/ and /sp/, then /tv/. I feel like /biz/ might have been a flash in the pan but I think /fit/ can claim the >that 30 year old boomer that goes to the gym and the >alpha/virgin memes, which were two of the biggest 4chan memes I can think of in recent times

www.cnbc.com/2017/12/08/cramer-bets-against-bitcoin-will-crush-it-once-futures-begin-trading.html

If you watch this video from December 8, essentially Cramer was correct about everything he said.

I can't really see him saying "short Bitcoin" right now. When he made this call in December, it made sense - he called it "returning to where it was" which was ~$5k. Shorting it now that it's hovering around that is just reckless and doesn't really go with what he was saying in December.
