renting vs owning depends on the situation.

but yes it's preferable to own; i just bought a house in the USA for 225k, using 25% downpayment. I'm going to invest 2-3k to replace carpet with laminate, and rent out to a nice family for 1600 a month, probably $2-300 cash flow, in an area with 8/10 in Great Schools ratings. I will repeat the process 4-9 more times, until I have 16,000 gross revenue and $8,000 profit net per month due to having rich parents who will float me a large capital amount when I get married.

I also drive a relatively shitty car, and buy all my goods autistically through amazon. Then I will use my cashflow to travel the world just like Kiyosaki's game Cashflow or that other game on Steam Timeflow.
