The insane amount of apathy (or suppression) is another sign the collapse is near. Back in the 80s, it was a huge deal that the national debt reached $1 trillion USD. Now $1 trillion is just another Monday agreement to fund 3 months of bloated federal operations. People are hiding their head in the sand afraid to look at the train about to run them over and hope it just passes them by.
