not as retarded as my coworker who's been holding HNU for a few years, a leveraged ETF on natural gas
last i heard earlier this year, he's down almost -$20K (maple dollars)

Pretty sure he bought around early 2018 because he was bragging that he was up massively at one point, but he didnt take or even trim profits (seems to be a huge newbie mistake that you have to sell all or nothing)
to this day he continues bagholding

all in his TFSA. since he was down -$20K, im going to assume he maxed out the contributions on his TFSA on this shit. can't even fucking write them off as losses because TFSA is already tax-free
