Yeah, I have a 5g bucket in the garage full of silver and more where that came from. I was showing lassen some rich silver/lead ore over in cmmg. I know a spot where a person could probably drive off with close to a ton of silver. Several such places around town.

I personally own a couple silver mines, so I don't stack the stuff. If I want some I'll go outside and pick it off the hillside like god intended.

I'm heading to bed but I brought an interesting rock for show and tell. Found this last week on an old mine.
It's the usual ore from my area. Small crystal galena. They said the smaller the crystals, the more silver it had. Some of this stuff ran over 20,000 toz/ton silver, though most of it is about half that. It's not our richest silver ore, that was almost pure silver. But this is the crap that filled the mills and kept the town in business. I picked up a few pounds laying on the ground. Presumably several hundred dollars worth of silver though I'd have to smelt it to know for sure. They left piles of this stuff on some of the dumps when the mines closed down. This is the reason they're building a new mill here. Millions of dollars worth of silver just littering the hillsides and gulches. It's worth building a mill just to process what's laying around.
