someone with knowledge of a target asks the viewer to consider different aspects of that target. the prompts are usually intentionally vague, because the only reliable data are abstract qualities of the target. once the viewer begins interpreting the data or using their own judgments, it becomes compromised and usually incorrect.
for example, if the viewer perceives that the target is "red" and "cheap" and "goes down often", he may make a personal interpretation that it's the BTC chart. at that point, the data becomes fucked and further viewing is compromised. the real target was my redheaded whore ex.
Nobody knows for certain how it works (theories abound). some targets are more easily viewed than others. text and numbers are especially tricky (not usable for predicting markets), whereas large physical structures seem to work well. what's clear is that you cannot simply just see things like you're watching a movie or teleporting to the target. instead, it's more akin to analyzing a book by plucking random words out of it.
all that said, there have been a few remote viewers who have been unusually talented.
