I used to think like you, but having held for 3+ years I just don't have any other explanation for the price not only 1) staying relatively low compared to somewhat similar ERC20 tokens (aka LINK) and more importantly 2) staying in a steady range of 15-30 cents (give or take 10 cents) for such a long period of time. Nothing about that tells me it's a decentralized token, it reeks of a controlled price-maker.

I'm not even FUDing. Hopefully I'm wrong, and anyways maybe that period of price manipulation has come to an end. But I just cannot see the 2 points I mentioned above and think, "oh yeah totally independent decentralize token, market is controlling the price". Think back to when BAT fucking dumped like shit after the Coinbase listing. Almost NO other crypto did that, maybe literally no other crypto. Extremely bizarre price action for 3 years. Color me suspicious.

Once they explain that all they need is enough money to cover their current positions, and then they can wait and short it even harder as this fiasco scares away every single major gamestop investor and makes them sell and the price plummets, which triggers a run off and leaves tiny retail internet retards holding the bag. They just have to wait for the inevitable massive crash and then they can make 300x their original position because you guys pumped it. Crypto isn't gonna replace fiat for day to day transactions. Nano shills can suck my dick.
But Bitcoin has carved out a niche as "online gold" and it is doing well at this idea. The idea of Bitcoin being used to daily transactions is not gonna happen save for the lightning network if that ever takes off. But the mainnet of Bitcoin can and is being used as a hedge by rich people and big corporations, similar to gold. So my advice is to either get in on BTC or get left behind.

My friend would rather play league of legend and invest in tesla than listen to me. My own brothers laughed at me and then went buying 600$ TV during the pandemic.
