You misunderstand. The fact of the matter is that most people in crypto don't actually care about decentralization. They care about making money. Decentralization was seen as a stepping stone to making more money than can be made in centralized environments in which the elite have significant control over our finances, so people were naturally drawn to it. But if a centralized platform suddenly starts booming because it has qualities that are superior to a decentralized platform, then people will naturally start moving over because it makes them more money.

I should have known this stupid fucking vaporware dogshit would moon. I just knew it would moon because people are retarded but I still didn't want to invest in it out of principle. Should have just put 100k in it, fucking dammit.
