energy management is shaky. unless the company is a big producer with loads of energy usage or a company with a branch-network (retailers etc.) it's boring. 99% of the companies implement an energy management system due to requirement by law and they do the bare minimum to get a certificate. if the requirement by law ever falls away that field will be pretty much dead.

Renewable energy is much more interesting. while it also basically exists due to subsidies it has way more legs and a future in my opinion. the era of mainly coal powered energy is currently at the beginning of its end.

one thing I don't get is: how do you find interesting stocks that are worth trading? where you expect an up or down movement? when the thing is already in the news I feel it's already too late.
