I've decided to try and "go up" a step in university at masters* level, and have been told by profs I've got a great chance of getting in to a world famous one (Cambridge).

This took/will take 10k of my student gibs, which I've so far just spent on crypto giving me about 10 btc. The only reason I did this was prestige/status, and partially because I regret not applying at undergraduate.

However I would genuinely prefer to stay at my current "good" uni if it wasn't for status. I don't want to go to a new place, I don't want to feel out of place like I did when I arrived here, I don't want to leave my great personal tutor.

Can someone just give it to me straight. Is the prestige/status from a fancy uni worth the 500k+ I could have got if I spent the money on bitcoin?
