Even though literally China actually is trying to make themselves "go green" because their pollution is so shit and killing themselves.

Point of green shit is that you can sell the tech to other countries and help slow it down because otherwise the other countries have 0 reason to switch to green shit while their tech is lagging decades behind. Hell, after corona I bet they're going to push harder because they can actually breathe outside without coughing up shit.
