LP is a token made by the Linkpool team. Owning the token gives you priority staking on the platform, and a share of the revenue Linkpool makes from staking, the DEX, their marketplace, and any other future sources of income.

Based OP.
The 1000 meme is just a cope mechanism for linklets. 100$ is fucking insane, I don't even think we will get that honestly. I'm guessing the ceiling is more at 50$ or so, especially if Sergey keeps selling millions of Link.
What makes you so sure we will reach 100$?

>Over the first half of 2019, Coinbase Custody has been busy adding new features and support for the assets that our clients have requested. We recently became the first institutional-grade, qualified custodian to offer staking services for assets held offline. We’re also among the first to offer OTC trading directly from cold storage. These offerings are allowing our clients to participate in all facets of the cryptoeconomy — trading, staking, governance — all while keeping their assets securely offline and protected by our comprehensive insurance policies.

Have anybody read Craig's recent article?
https://medium.com/@craig_10243/bitcoin-is-all-about-incentives-72894518f6b5

There he outlines his plan to incentivize miners to come to the SV chain and he explains how txs on the ABC chain will become "blacklisted" on the SV chain.

TL;DR if you split your coins using DVS they will be collected as miner fees on the SV chain. if SV wins the hash war you will have no BCH left, they have been donated to miners.

And since miners will get much more BCH per block on the SV chain it's likely they will end up winning the hash war.

I do think it's a pity Craig Wright acts the way he does but the man knows bitcoin better than anybody. He did invent it after all.

Ok serious thread please. Do we at least have a month of stability or downward movement left? I'm gonna be cashing out max 5k LINKs from my 25k stack so I can make a nice 2.5x profit in another thing and then buy back in 30 november or so. The mainnet doesn't seem to launch any time soon since tasks haven't been done yet and I'm guessing a full testnet(without reputation) needs to be completed first.

I'm guessing December near Christmas might be a time when Sergey will drop something as a present or so, but atm November might be the pause point where they keep working after all the conferences.

well it's a near-complete graph. satoshi himself described it here: https://youtu.be/RpWt2RKTTjQ?t=1312

the reason it's near-complete instead of complete is because every node doesn't HAVE to connect to every other node, they are just incentivized economically to do so so most will. but there will be some that still doesn't have 100% connections to all other nodes

Hm, don't be rude when you're talking about things you don't understand. As >>11273598 mentioned BCH added replay protection, which is admitting that you are a different crypto currency because every single block becomes invalid from then onward. Things like separating clients is also something that differentiates the two cryptos (BCH nodes don't need to talk to BTC nodes).

In November no replay will be added. SV clients will still communicate with ABC clients and they will still send receive each other's blocks and transactions. The only thing that would invalidate a block is either that it breaks the rules (for example the order of transactions) or that it is based on a previous block that was invalid. It is still a BCH block to both clients, just an invalid one. A tx made for BCH could be embedded into both blockchains, just in different blocks after the split.

SV or ABC will not be adding replay protection because neither wants to admit they are a new crypto. Both have a claim to the BCH ticker and they will be competing to create the longest chain.

if you check http://dapplist.biz/ sorted by 24h users there's like 1k-2k, maybe 3k people actually using ETH

another source is https://dappradar.com/charts though you have to scroll down to Daily users by categories and exclude exchanges from their stats
