Yo /biz/ops, I have a question about credit cards that I can't find an answer for. Why would a few of my cards have an available credit amount less than the credit limit, with a zero balance? Example, one of my cards is a $400 limit with $300 available and $0 balance. What is that $100 difference? The card is new and unused. Another is my Capitol One card, the limit is $300, the balance is $150, so I should have available credit as $150, right? But it's only $100. Where is that other $50? Thanks.
