My inherited boomer trust funds lost closer to 50% because they were still being managed by my mom, who was slow to sell the lockdown and shorted the covid bottom. So I took over managing them and I'm up 20% chasing the "recovery" and then going short in January. (Mostly cash gang, bear markets are way too turbulent for me to trust going all in on shorts as an amateur)
Going to uni for another undergrad for funsies in the fall.
