Fuck yeah Digitalcoin! And fuck yeah I'm gonna plug DGC in a shitcoin thread:

- Launched may 2013, no premine or instamine ~15% total supply currently out.
- Updated several times without any issue, no forks, nothing. (though the network could use more hashpower)
- Kept regular BTC volume on cryptsy since inception.
- honest developer.

DGC does a good job encapsulating the coin craze. The dev actually has a sense of what makes business thrive and long-lived, for example DGC didn't get as much interest as he estimated, so coin generation was cut ~70% to keep early investors happy, only having to sacrifice miner revenue (as if loyal miners really exist anyway, gotta pay the bills). This will most likely be restored should DGC get legit market attention. Hell the name alone could make it succeed, no need though as there's plenty of development behind it.

Anyway, all this 'my coins bigger than yours' is bullshit because *coins can change*. Find a developer who's willing to do so, isn't initially greedy, and isn't a script kiddie. Provided the coin isn't completely retarded i'll buy some. And yeah, investing in cryptos has worked out really well for me, and continues to do so because i'm not an idiot and can tell which coins reek of bullshit. It's not hard, just mind over money.
