I know panman and other amateur panners post here so I am going to ask /pmg/ does anybody have any resources for actual amatuer panning for complete greenhorns? I am a /out/ fag in the midwest so there is not really any serious deposits of either gold or silver that isnt flour grade from glacial deposits from my own research. That being the case I still wanted to do a little bit of panning on the side while I am in the /out/doors as something to do besides fishing on my hikes in my freetime.
