Hey /biz/ looking for some actual advice here.

I'm Canadian, I have $60K in cash that I don't know what to do with. Currently 10K is on Questrade in cash in TFSA, another 20K is in Wealth Simple Trade in cash in a TFSA. The last 30K will be coming shortly via an HSt rebate cheque that was mailed last week. Current financial situation:

-early 30s
-stable engineering position making low 6 figures
-partner is making similar money but in contract, hopefully getting a full time position
-partner is in debt to me for about $30k, currently paying it off
-I have a personal mortgage of about 350K
-my TFSA is maxed
-I have an RRSP with 6 figures but have contribution room
-I have rental properties and buying another but I don't need cash, using equity from other properties.
- I already have invested 30K in crypto and put $200/month in (I rent a parking spot out for cash and use that to buy)

The extent of my market experience had been choosing a fund at Sunlife and TD go my RRSP and TFSA. I'm trying to take the leap into ETFs but don't know wtf to do with the market right now and don't know if I should be yoloing in now or waiting for second drop. Or say fuck it and pay down personal mortgage instead.

I know I'm an idiot, troll away, but I'm actually serious and would appreciate some honest responses. Happy to answer any questions and show proof if needed.

Bad news keeps pumping the stock market. Airlines lay off half their crew, stonk goes up. Corporations miss earnings targets, stonks go up. The analyst rationale is that as soon as bad news is announced, that means the future upside is just that much greater, which is immediately priced into the current valuation.

Shouldn't this work in reverse as well? Whenever there is good news, that just means the potential for future red dildos is that much larger. Surely using the logic above, that means stocks should plunge every time they exceed expectations.

We don't see that happening, which means the rationale for why stonks go up when bad things happen is bullshit as well. So why does it happen?

Am I actually missing out on all these opportunities to make millions in an afternoon doing weird WSB tricks with puts and calls and etc? I hear this shit happening occasionally but I figure it's the same selection bias bullshit that goes on when you hear about a guy who 10000x's his money pulling a 100x leveraged short on bitcoin at the right microsecond and I'm just not hearing about the 99% of traders who tried the same thing and got liq'd.

Am I right or wrong? Are normie-tier reddit fags all getting hilariously rich on robin hood right now while I've got my thumb up my ass? I've got 75k link and basically stopped tried to swing or trade shit at all anymore.

Me and my wife wanted to start investing some money, or understanding how to invest it in a clever way, even if it means learning how to trade etc.
Or how much is better/worth investing low risk for the long run.
Can someone of you kindly give me a "quick rundown" (pun intended) on good reads or websites that honestly instruct on how to not be eaten by sharks of that world?
Or if there are software simulators before trading in real world platforms.
I know so little that i don´t know what to ask for, i´m in your hands.

If you think the intelligence groups arent playing the markets on a 5d chess level your fucking stupid. The NSA was directly caught with sensitive information from both SWIFT and bank of Zurich on multiple occasions. The CIA has been closely watching the Bank of Zurich for gold market manipulation since the end of the gold standard in the 70's. The CIA sold drugs for decades and was the most profitable member of the trade yet doesnt know where the money went.
If you do not realize the CIA could have carte Blanche access to cardboard companies they could use to multipurposely manipulate investments, launder money, and facilitate espionage then your unironically never going to be worth more then 10 million dollars.
Capitalism has been a sham since 1913 and the establishment of the federal reserve. Economics is a fancy way to say warfare through markets at this point. Really the only question you should be concerning yourself with is if you share the values of the intelligence agencies and if you are ok with being the banks bottom bitch. If both answers are yes the path to sucking these agencies off for a couple hundred million will become very clear to you.
By the way if you really believe BTC is ment to kill the banking cartel your stupid. By all outward appearences they will be dead yes, but in reality their wealth will just be hidden from you now. Bitcoins going to 1mil+ i can guarantee you, but not because its gonna herald in some rothschild free future I can tell you that much at least.
