Cities tend to have higher female to male ratios. With access to literally everything and anything. You are forced to become your best self to survive.

Also remember in the country you are surrounded by yourself and whoever/whatever is closest to you. That's going to hinder your intelligence/INCOME faster than the broke guy hustling his way up in a metropolitan area. The latter could be FAILING HIS WAY UP the socio-economic ladder, and still come out better than you living on a ranch.

You think protecting yourself in the country is a sound idea? It's not its, a terrible power move that's been done in history a thousand times over with negative consequences. From multiple cultures across different countries. IT HAS NEVER BEEN A GOOD IDEA.

Countryside living is like playing a video game on easy mode. You'll win and sure you'll feel good about your "skills"...but when faced against a guy who's been playing on expert level...you'd get killed before you knew what happened.
