They clearly want to get rid of cash. Even now cash has become a hassle. We've become so accustomed to very quick payment methods as time goes on, now dealing with cash is an inconvenience. Everything will have a paper trail, because that's what they want. Corporations will eventually know you better than you know yourself due to AI being able to autistically pick apart your personality through purchase history, web browsing habits and what you watch.
