Lets not kid ourselves here. The stock market was at its best when sopranos aired from 1999 to 2007 in terms of at its best in any of our lifetimes. You could've held some stocks in that era and didn't realize you were living in the last dying light of the best time to be in stocks of the 21st century. Things were fairly valued better and you were in before the big QE turnaround in 2009. "Try to remember the times that were good". Predictive programming that was probably unintentional. Descendants of ancient rome that were enjoying a blip in time before the end of rome 2.0 like their ancestors probably did before them with rome 1.0.
