Reminder that Fed has never made it their goal to liquidate their portfolio. Powel actually said that it's healthy situation to have player like Fed in the market who holds this many assets.
Reminder that Fed is under no obligation to sell those assets. They can simply wait for them to reach maturity.
Reminder that looking at a single metric to evaluate macro is equivalent of trying to use linear equation to explain how particle physics work, when in fact you need pic related.

I don't know where the market will go and when. It's not as simple as using most basic logic.
To show it in math terms, you might figure out what's the result of linear equation with little effort. In the big picture it doesn't matter though, because macro economy is as complex as Standard Model Lagrangian equation.
