if u r able to learn basics of linux (its quite simple) u can use hiveOS, otherwise just use windows10 + anyDesk/teamViewer to monitor them.
with mining its really simple: less effort less money: u go for ETH
More effort, more money: u mine shitcoins. i.e.
ive been mining NIMIQ coin for past 2-3 months with my 2060 cards (they crash argon2d so its most profitable for me), but there were people who mined i.e. RVN coin before the pump. in the beggning u mine lets say 3$/day but after a pump and with right sell order u actually mined 38$/day. with ETH u might get x5-10, with shitcoins? sky is the limit, yet remember shittier the coin, more time u need for supervision of the rigs. eth miners might not crash at all during one month and those minig shit coins can crash every single fuckin day (i had this issue with nimiq, but finally got a good pool and a good miner)
im glad ive started mining cos it actually give u a peace of mind. ive stopped stressing and ive stopped worrying. im mining 400$/month IN CRYPTO, and the coins i mine have good fundamentals and i will stick with them till the end of 2019. i spend like 1-2 hours a day supervising them yet right now its flawless. i even want to buy more 1660ti to mine nimiq as i really fell good vibes for this project.
ive used to trade but i was really bad at that due to the stress of missing out the train etc. now i mine and ive started to trade more as i fell kind of secured?

I've bought fuckin mining rig 10x RTX 2060 using.. GOVERNMENT non-refundable loan for fresh business. i've recieved almost >7k$, bought a fancy new laptop, new phone and 2 mining rigs.
Can sell them after one year.
what is more, RTX run on a new memory type 6, so they literally HARVEST nimiq coin (370kh/s for 2060 on barely 120W, and 270 for 1080ti), and ive made a deal with friend of mine to share reward 80/20 on my side for free electricity in his IT company. and those 2 rigs + some extra cloud servers mine me 300k of nimiq monthly, so its like 300$ u fuckin mongs.
just because u cant do it it doesnt mean its not worth it lolololo
can t wait for next bull run to cash out and buy a PV installation xD

Been mining it since around May. I've loved the easy access and possibility of extorting AWS/GC/Azure services to mine cryptocurrency (almost 300-400k mined so far). I really enjoy ease of use, speed and convenience. Network based wallet and speed of synchronization are astonishing..

Im not sure if this article was sponsored yet guy gets what i mean and i fell same vibes. Actually i agree with simplicity they try to achieve, plus they r Germans..i dont like them as a nation but they do things. cars, planes, and wars.
They implemented GPU minig and since my new RTX 2060 rigs arrived i've been hardcore mining it all day'n'night long (each 2060 gives around 320kh/s -> 1500 nim a day.)

My opinion is i will keep my above 2,5 mils bagz till they get listed on a bigger exchange
