Its only really worth it if you accompany your major with math or statistics.

I got a degree in Mathematical Economics and I landed a job doing Catastrophe modeling for a big fortune 500 company.

I did bust my ass off taking graduate level statistics courses in my last semesters and learning how to code and such SQL, R , Python SAS, Etc.

If you do go that path you better have a plan on how you get pass the shittery on finding entry positions involving your major.
